Vancouver Island Highway 19 Road Conditions Reports

Highway 19 (Island Highway), in both directions. Utility work planned between SW Main Rd and Campbell Way for 3.7 km (7 to 3 km south of Port McNeill). Starting Mon Nov 17 at 7:30 AM PDT until Fri Nov 21 at 5:00 PM PDT. Road will be closed intermittently. Watch for traffic control personnel. Road Closures Max 10 Min as needed. Excluding Nov 11/25.

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), northbound. Utility work planned between Nanaimo City (Island Highway South) and Exit 29: Ware Rd (2 km north of Nanaimo). Starting Mon Dec 1 at 8:00 AM PST until Fri Dec 12 at 4:00 PM PST. Shoulder will be closed. Watch for traffic control personnel. Slow down + watch for work crews.

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway). Water pooling between Duncan Bay Main and Cook Creek Rd for 56.7 km (12 km south of Campbell River to 28 km south of Cumberland).

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), southbound. Road sweeping between Parksville Exit (Highway 19A) and Exit 29: Ware Rd for 15.3 km (2 km north of Nanaimo to 1 km south of Parksville). Until Thu Nov 13 at 4:00 AM PST. Left lane is closed. Watch for traffic control.
