Construction work from Lemieux Creek Road, Highway 24 to Round Top FSR. Starting Thu Oct 15 until Thu Oct 15. Last update: October 8th, 2026 at 3:41pm PDT. A full closure will be in effect at 8.5 km from 10:00am-2:00pm. Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect from 3.5 km to 8.5 km.

Paving operations from Highway 1A, In Surrey and At stal¿¿¿¿w¿¿as¿¿m Bridge to At King George Blvd. Starting Fri Oct 16 until Mon Oct 19. Northbound lane closure. Last update: October 8th, 2026 at 3:10pm PDT. Southbound exit to King George Blvd closed. Detour via Hwy 17 westbound off-ramp, to Tannery Rd, to 120 St, to King George Blvd. Work from 9pm on October 16th, to 5am on October 19th.

Do You Need a Pleasure Craft Operator Card?

All operators of powered watercraft used for recreational purposes within BC, Canada now require a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.

Boaters are now required to have the Pleasure Craft Operator Card – Boaters Licence in order to operate a powered watercraft. There is no grandfather clause or age exemption – this law applies to all boaters. Powered watercraft includes watercraft fitted with any size motor – even a trolling motor. This includes operating a PWC – Licence for Jetski or Seadoo type device.

Ham plates make it easy to identify amateur radio operators so that they can assist ​with emergency communications in the event of a natural disaster. 2m band National Simplex Frequency (also referred to as the calling frequency) is 146.52 MHz. 70cm use 446.00 MHz.
