Vancouver Island Highway 19 Road Conditions Reports

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), in both directions. Tree pruning between Corcan Rd and Parksville Exit (Highway 19A) for 13.1 km (Parksville). Until Fri May 22 at 2:00 PM PDT. BROOMBUSTERS - removing Broom from shoulders. Watch for work crews.

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), northbound. Tree pruning between Cranberry Ave and Harewood Mines Rd for 4.1 km (Nanaimo). Until Fri May 29 at 2:00 PM PDT. BROOMBUSTERS - Broom removal from shoulders - watch for work crews.

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), southbound. Tree pruning planned between Exit 29: Ware Rd and Mary Ellen Dr for 1.2 km (1 to 2 km north of Nanaimo). Starting Sun May 24 at 9:00 AM PDT until Sat Jun 6 at 8:00 PM PDT. BROOMBUSTERS - Broom removal - watch for work crews.

Highway 19 (Inland Island Highway), southbound. Tree pruning planned between Dawson Rd and Northwest Bay Rd for 2.5 km (6 to 4 km south of Parksville). Starting Tue May 19 at 10:00 AM PDT until Thu May 21 at 2:00 PM PDT. Right lane will be closed. Expect delays. Watch for traffic control personnel. Slow down and watch for work crews.
