Highway 39 is a minor 29 km (19 mi) long spur route. It runs from a point on the John Hart Highway 97 just north of Tudyah Lake northwest to the town of Mackenzie, near the southern arm of Williston Lake.
Mackenzie is a district municipality within the Fraser-Fort George Regional District in central British Columbia, Canada. The community is located at the south end of Williston Lake. Mackenzie has a small airport. Check Highway 39 – Road Conditions
Williston Lake is a reservoir created by the W. A. C. Bennett Dam and is located in the Northern Interior of British Columbia, Canada.
